PARADE DAY LINE UP
Your exact location will be sent to you and posted here on Monday December 2nd.  Floats and other vehicles that are in the parade must enter the staging area on Woolwich Street via Woodlawn Road (see map to the right).  Woolwich Street will be closed to all other traffic and participants can be dropped off on one the many side streets between Clarke Street and Division Street. There will be lots of parade marshals onsite on parade day to help you.

TIMINGS
Vehicle entries must be in place by 5pm at the latest.

Anyone walking in the parade is advised to be in place by 5.15pm.

ACCESSING THE STAGING AREA

FLOATS AND VEHICLES: Please refer to the Parade Route Map (to the right) for details on where you should enter the parade.  Parade Marshals will be on hand to direct you to your exact place in the line up.

PEOPLE WALKING IN THE PARADE: Woolwich St will be closed to vehicles (excluding floats) between Verney Road and Powell St.  Parking can be found on the many side streets along Woolwich and at the Exhibition Park Arena.

CANDY CANES AND HAND OUTS
Candy canes must be handed and not thrown to spectators at the side of the road.

The handing out of promotional materials of any kind is strictly prohibited and will be enforced on the day.

THE DISPERSAL AREA
The parade ends at the railway bridge on Wyndham St N and all entries must keep moving under the bridge into the dispersal area.  Guelph Police Services will be in attendance ensuring the safety of all participants.

All unstable materials can be removed from float entries in the dispersal area.

There is free parking in Downtown Guelph.  Parents who want to collect their children at the end of the parade are advised to park in the Neeve Street parking lot or the Market Square Parkade.

OTHER GENERAL INFO
Entries must be no higher than 3.8m (12.4”).
